115 E Chicago Ave, Chicago, IL 60611
Stroll Michigan Ave on a cold (but not too cold) weekday afternoon, then tuck into the bistro seating inside, near the bar. (There’s a formal dining room behind RL bar, but don’t worry about getting that far.) You’ll be cozied up to your standard set of Chicago tourists and a few regulars, and the din in this tiny place will be punctuated by the banter of the bartenders, hosts, and barbacks. I would say this place transports you somewhere, but really, it transports you further into itself.
