Who knew something that simple could be momentarily transcendent. Make a reservation well ahead of time, or ask for a 5:30 spot at the bar for an early dinner. Soak up the contrasts in the food, cooked in seemingly French style, but brimming with confident, bold east asian flavors. Spicy and savory. The staff is engaged and proud, and the kitchen seems efficient and passionate. For us, was the perfect kickoff to a night food, wine, and wandering in Paris.
